Need to send a large e-mail? Send it for free with You Send it! – a nyc computer help tip

It is not easy sending large attachments.  Usually, it slows down your computer to e-mail, and many times, your e-mail can’t handle sending over 2MB attachments.  You can get around this problem by using an FTP service where you can store files on a website and your recipient may be provided the username and password to access these files.  However, that seems like a lot of work and authentication for just 1 file.  Plus, you’ll need to pay a monthly service just to carry through this task.

A good way to send large e-mails is to use You Send It.   You Send It allows you to e-mail up to a 100MB file for free!  That’s an incredible amount of space to e-mail over the Internet.  You can send up to 2GB if needed for a fee.  However, typically 100MB is plenty of space to work with.  All you have to do is sign up, attach the file; specify your recipient e-mail address as well as yours.  It’s a great service and an especially great way to share pictures, videos, and more.  And you don’t have to be a tech support expert to do it!
