Your computer turns on. Hooray! Your computer turns of 5-10 seconds later. Boo! Such extreme emotions can cause a conniption and we don’t want that! If your computer turns on, and then so nicely turns off, there are computer repair steps you can follow to resolve this computer startup issue.
- Disconnect peripherals. Disconnect any printers, external hard drives, or any other peripheral devices. This includes removing the cables that attach to your computer from these devices.
- Bad Outlet? Check to see where your computer to powered into. Plug your power cable or AC Adapter into another surge protector or wall outlet.
