A shattered screen rarely makes it as far as damaging the LCD, but more severe projectiles may reach the LCD. As a bonus, if both the digitizer and LCD need to be replaced, your price is still just $180. A new iPad screen replacement is $150 no matter what parts need replacement. No hidden costs.
How long? The iPad 3 screen replacement takes approximately 1 hour. You may feel free to wait for it or drop it off. It’s up to you and your schedule.
What’s the warranty? We have a life-time warranty for any defects or internal issues.
Are the screen replacements original Apple parts? Yes, we partner with the original Apple factories in order to provide you the best quality parts available. In turn, it’s as if your iPad 3 was never broken since the quality is the same as when you first purchased it.
Doesn’t Apple cover iPad repairs? Apple will cover manufacturing defects for up to 1 year, but not if you dropped it or cracked it. Apple does have an Applecare+ service where you have to pay $99 which covers 2 years of hardware repair coverage. But, there is some fine print. You have to pay $49 each time you have it serviced. You only have up to 2 incidents of accidental damage. And here’s the likely deal-breaker: You have to purchase the AppleCare+ coverage within 30 days of purchase.
If you didn’t buy the Applecare + coverage, Apple will replace your New iPad screen for $299. Keep in mind that this repair takes anywhere from 2-5 days. In my mind, the Apple repair is too much and takes too long. We will repair your iPad for almost half the cost and a fraction of the turn-around time.
