- Get a free credit report. No need to go online and pay. Call Annual Credit Report at 877-322-8228. You can request a report from one of the big three, Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion, up to three times a year.
- Place high caps on your bank accounts or from those overseas. If you fit the bill on both of those, then disregard. Otherwise, this could flag illegal access.
