Happy Thanksgiving to you, your family, and friends. I’d like to say that I’m thankful to you as our loyal customers. Without you, my team and I would not be able to do what we love each and every day, helping people and learning new tech support techniques. I am thankful for such a wonderful technology support team. I can say without a doubt that they are truly the best quality computer technicians you will find. Not only do they know their stuff, but they truly care about resolving customers’ computer issues and are dedicated to that point. In every industry, you will find people who are good at what they do, they know it, and they show it. Not with our guys, they are humble and low-key although they are true IT experts and are the best of the computer support industry.
Now, on to tech gadgets. What tech gadgets should be thankful for in 2013:
- iPad mini – Yes, it’s a carry-over from last year, but the new iPad with retina display allows last year’s regular model to be priced only at $300. Definitely a no-brainer.
- Smart TV’s – The prices keep getting lower and lower. And the Internet and TV is having more that blurring line effect. Is it the Internet or TV. It’s both! Good resolution and 3D pretty much come with every TV. I’m still waiting for refresh rates to get better though.
- Chromebooks – Only $250, it’s Samsung, and you use Google Chrome. Laptops may be the old dinosaurs on the blocks as we know it with ultrabooks and tablets taking the IT support industry by storm. Ultrabooks have minimal hard drive space, but are well worth it due to its low cost and if you use cloud storage.
- Google Drive / Storage – Not new, but still the cheapest of the online bunch and makes not having your own company server still a feasible reality. Store your files via Google and retrieve them anywhere.
