Get your ices, your cold ices on a hot day! Okay, we’re not talking about the Italian Ices here, but the much nastier Ice virus. The Ice virus is the Cyber Crime Virus that completely locks up your PC.
- How can you get infected? Through malicious websites, spam email, and fake download.
- How does it look? You’ll see a bogus notification like the one above, pretending to the Department of Homeland Security
- How can you remove it? Don’t pay the fee of $300 or similar requested by the virus creator. It won’t work. Instead, go to New York Computer Help, the ICE virus expert in NYC, to remove the virus for you. It is typically $125 unless it is more extreme than the regular virus.
