Passwords are great. For one, they prevent hackers from entering your computer. But, what if you’re transferring files, watching a movie, rendering a project, or just simply don’t want to keep entering your password over and over?
Here’s the easiest way to disable your lock screen password in Windows 10:
- Go to System
- Control Panel
- System
- Power & Sleep
- Toggle to Never for “When plugged in, turn off after”
I advise against removing your password, and if you do so, you should re-enter it after you’re done with your all-mighty important task that required removing it in the first place.
