Just installing Mojave and looking to trick it out? Yes, there are some hidden hacks you can access. But, you’ll just need to know what to press to get there. Mojave, the latest Mac operating system, has some cool gems to take advantage of.
Here are the 3 best tricks / tips when using Mojave on your Mac:
1. Use Dark Mode in the nighttime.
Just like your phone, you can adjust your Mojave operating system while working when it’s dark. It’s easier on the eyes and adjusts the brightness. Just go to System Preferences -> General and select “Dark” appearance.
2. Tidy up your desktop with Stacks.
You now longer have to take forever to find your desktop files. Plus, a zillion disorganized desktop files will slow your start time. Instead, you can organize your files by type, i.e. text docs, images, videos, by clicking on “View” in the menu bar in Finder. Then select “Use Stacks.”
3. Screenshots are now a piece of cake.
Easily share to others how your screen looks. Just press Command + Shift + 5 and the Screenshot tool opens. From there, add a caption or doodle on it. Then, forward it however you’d like.
These 3 tricks will help you make Mojave work better for you. And you don’t have to be a Mac Mojave expert to figure it out. It’s just a few steps for each trick and you’ll be looking like a Mac expert.
