The industry of gaming is a huge billion-dollar business as a whole but there it is divided into various platforms of gaming such as Mobile Gaming, PC or Console. And different types of gamers choose certain platforms according to their play-style and needs. We can classify these gamers into two main types, Strategic and Casual gamers, according to how they play the games and their choice of genre in video games.
Now there has been this long going debate as to which one is better than the other when it comes to gaming, PC or Console? But we are not going to jump in on this as I think it totally depends on players personal preference. If you love Consoles to play your games, go for it! If you think PC gaming suits you better, good for you!
But I am definitely going to tell you the reasons why I think PC gaming is more suitable for Strategic gamers.
PC is better equipped
Now this one is a given, PC has mouse and keyboard that provides you with better movement, faster reaction time and dead shot aiming. This is a huge advantage when you are playing competitive FPS titles such as Valorant.
But when it comes to Console, you have to be like a super pro gamer with mastery over the controller to take these shots and even then, it would be so hard for you to take that head off some zombies.
Even when it comes to ease of access, PC gives you a lot more freedom to make you feel more comfortable, you can bind your controls to different keys on your keyboard that’s easier to reach.
Graphics Settings
When it comes to graphics of the game, PC and Console go hand-in-hand most of the time, if we just don’t take into account all the hardware updates that PC can have. But the thing is PC gives you way more control over the graphics than Console, there are a ton of settings that you can tweak to get the look that you want to have in the game.
There are times, when games don’t look as good as you want them or the colors sometimes are just washed away, on PC you can use a ton of applications to change the way a game looks, something that you can’t do on a console.
Saves You a LOT of Money
Now this might not be a problem to some but it surely is a problem to many of the players out there. PC solves it by providing you with a game that you can play for as long as you want. But when it comes to Console, you’d need to have an older version of the Console to play that older version of the game and that is insane.
On PC, you can download and play games that are probably extinct and still they’d run super smoothly on your system. You can even play games that are not available for PC support using an emulator which is a win on all fronts!
