Great question. First of all, it’s good to know if you may already have a warranty.
Did you know that even if you don’t upgrade or pay extra for warranty on your HP, Dell, Lenovo, Acer, Asus, Apple or another computer, you’ll still receive the standard manufacturer’s warranty for one year. Note that only covers “manufacturer defects,” not accounting for spills, drops, or any other customer-induced damage.
If you haven’t upgraded your warranty beyond the 1-year manufacturer’s warranty, well then, you are out of warranty. What do you do?
At this point, you have the option of going to a third-party company like New York Computer Help that specializes in full computer warranty. This means your whole computer is fully covered no matter what the issue. Best of all, you can spill liquid on it, drop it, and mistreat your computer without having to hide such before-and-after story details. It’s like a “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy.
If you’re in NYC, you can stop right into our NYC repair centers for a quick turn-around. If you’re outside of NYC, we have an easy mail-in process where you can ship it into us. Back to New Yorkers. If you’re lucky enough to live in NYC, this warranty is for you. You’ll deal with actual people who do the actual work on site at our locations. No international phone operators, no shipping, no 2 week to 2 month turn-around, no wasted time. Everything is white glove service, quick, reasonable, and reliable.
