Simplest Ways to Clean Your Computer

Be sure to get into all the nooks and crannies. You can also use a vacuum cleaner if needed, but as a warning, too much dust build-up can cause static electricity to form and short out some parts as the dust is being pulled out.
Once the PC is clean, you can start to disinfect it. There are a few different ways to do this:
- You can use a 70-90% isopropyl alcohol solution, but don’t use it directly on your device. Instead, spray or drip a small amount onto a microfiber cloth and use that to wipe down the surfaces. You can use a disinfectant spray that is safe for electronics. Whether you’re spraying the solution on a cloth or using disinfecting wipes, you should note that it is important that you get rid of the excess liquid. Keep the cloth damp, but not dripping wet. When wiping down a keyboard especially on a laptop, the excess solution can easily find its way beneath the keys and onto the precious parts underneath it.
- -You can use a diluted bleach solution (1 part bleach to 9 parts water) as you would the alcohol solution
- -Or you can use an alcohol or disinfecting wipe, but just make you wring out the excess solution
Let the disinfectant dry completely before using your computer again. You can use this method on a mouse or monitor as well.
If you don’t trust yourself enough to do the cleaning, you can always take it to a repair center and get it done relatively cheap and professionally.
