Joe Silverman gives his Mac expert opinion on Steve Jobs denying radiation app

%image_alt%Tawkon, app maker of the radiation detector, was denied making it to the app store by Steve Jobs. In a curt “No interest” reply from the iPhone genius and Apple guru, Steve Jobs, he dismissed having the radiation app in his store.  No further comment was made.  Lots of discussion has been made on why Jobs denied this app in such a hasty fashion.  Thus, MacNewsWorld interviewed me for my Mac expert opinion on why Jobs rejected this app.

Although I am an avid supporter of the high tech companies in Israel, I feel like this Israeli app maker missed the mark. %image_alt% It’s a shame because Gil Friedlander, CEO of Tawkon, put almost 2 years of development and funding into this.     But, in blunt terms, who in their right mind wants to know how much radiation is around us when using our iPhones?  Plus, I don’t think this app should be riding the coattails of the Japan radiation crisis as that is in poor taste.
