Joe Silverman

Joe’s strive for perfection started as a top 10 tennis juniors player while growing up in New Jersey. He opted to go the academics route, graduating with a Business Management degree from Cornell and MIS degree from Columbia. Before founding New York Computer Help, Joe excelled at leading IT departments and IT recruiting. In these roles, his quest to please each customer is what drives Joe. He has hand-selected a 25-tech team who lives and works by the same code: always be honest, love what you do, and treat the customer like you would your own mother.

Jim Chin

Before joining New York Computer Help in 2005, Jim worked as a Senior Technical Officer at JPMorgan Chase for 10 years. He led office move projects, new computer roll-outs, and daily IT support operations for the Global Investment Bank Department. Jim has the innate zen-like ability to see the forest over the trees for every customer, resulting in many successful partnerships and a 30-day lead time for Jim’s next availability.

Kenneth Peng

Prior to starting with New York Computer Help in 2005, Ken led workstation upgrades for Merrill Lynch, managed a 1,000+ computer roll-out for PaineWebber, and provided Senior desktop support for UBS. Ken’s ability to thrive under pressure has rescued many newly enlisted high-profiled clients from server and network disasters. Further, companies have been known to not let Ken go, literally keeping him as their dedicated IT outsourced specialist on a daily basis.

Lawrence Irwin

Armed with a Masters of Internet Technology from Pace University and 20+ years of computer service experience, Lawrence is Mr. Reliable. More importantly, his genuine care and concern for each customer is felt and appreciated by many of our customers. Since 2005, Lawrence has been known to call and email customers from dusk to dawn regarding important computer tips and help. As per his tech chops, Lawrence is extremely versatile, a computer expert in Apple, Windows, Novell, UNIX, Microsoft Office, remote / VPN, backups, disaster recovery, and laptop / desktop / printer repair.

Francisco Mancheno

Francisco moved to the United States from Ecuador at age 16. Since then, he has made the most of his time by attaining two Bachelor of Arts degrees at Hunter College, one in Physics and the other in Math. Francisco joined New York Computer Help in 2003 as an In-house Entry Level Technician and was quickly promoted to Onsite Technician and now a Senior-level Specialist. He continually proves that he can master any computer issue, including: all PC / Mac repairs, server issues,
network problems, programming support, web design help, and other IT issues. We look to Francisco as the resident genius to resolve the toughest of all IT issues.

Andrey Golender

Andrey started with New York Computer Help in 2007 and brought with him a vast experience of network administration, messaging/email support, database/web service installs, and security management. He has been known to save the day like Superman when new clients hire us for disaster recovery situations. Andrey is a talented multi-tasker who regularly supports a handful of customers every hour.

Oscar Santana

With 30+ years experience, Oscar is our go-to telecommunications and network installation expert. Complimentary site surveys are done first, followed by a clear flat fee of the work. Oscar handles everything from small network cabling up to 5 computers in home apartments to multi-floor office phone and computer network cabling up to 500 users. Oscar constantly saves customers money by performing inside wiring work that Verizon, TimeWarner, and other Internet Service Providers would typically charge an arm and a leg for. Cable drops, pulls, repairs and preventative maintenance is what Oscar specializes in. More importantly, Oscar’s ability to communicate effectively throughout all phases of his cabling and voice project makes him the best cabling tech in NYC.
