Should I buy the iPhone 5? – iPhone 5 vs. iPhone 4S – iPhone 5 specs – Easiest way to buy the iPhone 5

The iPhone 5 is out!  Should you buy it?  What’s the difference from the iPhone 4S?  What’s the easiest way to buy it?  These questions will all be answered directly without any geek-speak.

Should you buy the iPhone 5?  Yes!  Even if you have the iPhone 4S or 4, this phone is really heads and shoulders better in every aspect.

Why is the iPhone 5 so much better than the iPhone 4s?

  • 18% thinner
  • 20% lighter
  • 2x faster (Apple A6 from 1GHZ A5)
  • Larger 4-inch screen (1136 x 640 display upgraded from 960 x 640)
  • Faster 4G LTE – fast cellular speed and more networks to access
  • Faster Wi-Fi with dual-band 802.11n wireless
  • Front camera is upgraded to 720 pixels from VGA
  • New Apple Earpods

Here’s the full spec list to compare the iPhones:

What’s the easiest way to buy the iPhone 5?  Go online!  Don’t fight the lines at AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, Apple, Best Buy, Radio Shack, or Walmart.  In many cases, it will be out of stock by the time you get there so save yourself a lot of time and go on the Apple website to buy it.

Any other cool features I should know about the iPhone 5?  Yes, Siri goes a step further in providing up-to-date sports scores and setting up restaurant reservations for you.  Apple’s own turn-by-turn directions replaces Google Maps for a more 3-D, intuitive experience.  Like the Android, you can take snapshots while recording videos.

The iPhone 5 is definitely worthy of purchasing even if you are not eligible for an upgrade.  That being said, if you’re still not ready for the move, feel free to drop into New York Computer Help for an iPhone 4s color conversion or iPhone 4 color change.  We’ll make your current iPhone unique and people will wonder how you got your hands on such a tricked out iPhone!
